2028 Centennial Celebration

East Hanover Township will proudly celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2028!

As we prepare for this historic milestone, the Centennial Committee will be sharing articles, stories, photographs,
and event information over the next two years leading up to our official kickoff in January 2028.

We invite residents, organizations, and members of the community to be part of this celebration by contributing memories,
historical items, photographs, and stories that reflect East Hanover’s rich 100‑year history.
Your contributions will help us honor our past while celebrating the people and moments that shaped our Township.

If you would like to share information or materials with the Centennial Committee, please contact us at kennyh@easthanovertownship.com.

As East Hanover prepares for its own Centennial Celebration, we invite residents and organizations to explore regional events connected to the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. Morris County—known as the Crossroads of the Revolution—is hosting a wide range of historical programs, exhibits, and community events throughout 2025–2026 leading up to July 4, 2026. These activities present opportunities for collaboration, education, and shared celebration of our region’s rich Revolutionary history.
