If you are entering into a Marriage or Civil Union in New Jersey, you can find information on the Department of Health | Vital Statistics (nj.gov) which may be helpful to you. Read it carefully, if you need further assistance, please contact our Registrar of Vital statistics.
- If you are a resident of East Hanover and are planning to enter into a marriage or civil union partnership in the Township of East Hanover, please contact 973-888-6000 to make an appointment to apply for your license.
- If both applicants are residents of state other than New Jersey and are planning on entering into a marriage or civil union partnership in the Township of East Hanover, please contact 973-888-6000 to make an appointment to apply for your license.
Please note: Marriage licenses are available to qualifying couples of all gender compositions.
